Instructed by Neil Gagne, this four day class will consist of 32 hours of training on medical gas pipeline equipment such as alarms, valves, compressors and vacuum pumps. It will also include detailed training in NFPA 99, including types of facilities and requirements, installation of medical gas piping systems, testing, requirements, etc.
The first three days of class will be held online via Zoom. Attendees must use a desktop computer/laptop or tablet. Phones may not be used.
A section of the class will be devoted to proper brazing techniques and requirements for working with medical gas equipment.
This portion of the class will be done in-person at the Construction Education Center. Attendees must wear cloth face coverings, maintain six feet of social distance from other people in the building and temperature checks will be done upon entering the building.
This class will be instructed under the 2018 edition of NFPA 99. Attendees will be notified when they must pick up their books for the class.
