| Construction Site Layout I |
| This 10-hour introductory course will help develop the skills of your field employees!
Great for new hires! This course will be instructed by Randy Becker, P.E., Project Manager
for BB&E, and will be tailored to the aptitude levels and specific needs of the class. This
course will include class room instruction and hands-on work and requires attendees to bring
an auto level, leveling rod, transit or theodolite, tripod, 6-foot ruler, 25-foot tape, 100-foot
steel measuring tape, plumb bob, & calculator. |

| This 15-hour course is ideal for your foreman or employees with 3-5 years experience working in the field and have a basic understanding of site and building plans, but would like to further develop their skills. Instructed by Randy Becker, P.E., Project Manager for BB&E, the class will be tailored to the aptitude levels and specific needs of the class and will include class room instruction and hands-on work. | Basic Computer Skills for Construction Professionals |
| Is working with computer software a challenge for your jobsite responsibilities? Do you still
“crunch” numbers with pencil and paper? In this introductory course, using Windows XP and
Microsoft Office 2003, you will become familiar with the keyboard and mouse, learn to manipulate
windows, start programs, copy and past text, and print. Main focus of course is on
Excel 2003 where you will learn how to create spreadsheets from scratch, perform calculations,
format and print spreadsheets. Class is designed for those who currently use basic elements
of Microsoft office as well as those who have never used it. |
