Online continuing education for plumbers and electricians: Extends until December 31, 2020 the deadline for electricians and plumbers to complete continuing education requirements and permits electricians and plumbers to renew their licenses within existing deadlines notwithstanding their failure to complete continuing education requirements prior to December 31, 2020.  Read the Executive Order

The Construction Education Center has received DECD certification and are resuming our in-person continuing education classes.

Attendees must wear a protective face covering while in the building. We will be doing temperature checks with contactless infrared thermometers as you enter the building.  If your temperature is over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, you won’t be able to attend class and will be rescheduled.  Six feet distance must be maintained from all other people in the building.

The Construction Education Center is an official provider (#1275) of Continuing Education classes for plumbers and electricians in the state of Connecticut. We have received approval for the 2020 Electrical requirement and the 2020-2021 Plumbing requirement.

Section 20-334d of the Connecticut General Statutes requires that all types of electrical license holders and most types of plumbing license holders obtain continuing education hours of instruction to renew their respective licenses.
