S2/D2 License Exam Prep Class

The following materials are required for the D2 Prep course:
International Mechanical Code, 2015, 2018 or 2021 Editions allowed
2012 NFPA 54 Fuel Gas Code
OSHA Standards 29 CFR Part 1926
Modern Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, 21st or 22nd Edition
ACCA Ductulator
These books are allowed in the exam room but are optional for this prep course:
- 2014 NFPA 58: Liquified Petroleum Gas Code
- 2005 HVAC Duct Standards

Attendees arriving without full set of materials will be rescheduled for the next date.

The following materials are required for the S2 Prep Course:

These books are allowed in the exam room but are optional for this prep course:
-2005 HVAC Duct Standards, 3rd Edition
-NFPA 56: Standard for Fire and Explosion Prevention During Cleaning and Purging of Flammable Gas Piping Systems, Current Edition 

The following books are NOT allowed in the examination center but are recommended for study. They are optional for this prep course:
- Modern Hydronic Heating for Residential and Light Commercial Buildings, 2004, 2nd Edition
- Residential Oil Burners, 3rd Edition, 2007
- Steam Plant Operation, 10th Edition, 2017

Attendees arriving without full set of materials will be rescheduled for the next date.

Lunch:
It is recommended that each attendee bring a bag lunch with them to facilitate keeping the class schedule on time.

Refund Policy:
CEC employs a No Refund Policy. If enrolled participants must cancel a class, CEC will reschedule them for a class at a later date subject to availability. A $25.00 rescheduling fee will be applied if individuals do not contact our office within a week of class date if they are unable to attend.

Cancellation Policy:
CEC reserves the right to cancel any course or class due to circumstances beyond our control such as insufficient enrollment registration up to one week prior to class date or inclement weather. Alternative class dates will be offered to those enrolled.

In these instances, all tuition will be refunded, or class rescheduled to a later date. Classes cancelled due to inclement weather will be broadcast using the WFSB (channel 3)-Early Warning Network and NEWS 8 (WTNH) Storm Closings. They will also be posted on wfsb.com, wtnh.com and our website, thinkconstruction.org.
